When I wrote this it was not only a message and a reminder to myself, it is to pass on to everyone.
If you stop you’ll never know how far you can go.
Regardless of what you do with your life this applies to absolutely anyone.
We were made to strive, drive and survive any and all challenges that come our way. We were given the gift of STRENGTH and COURAGE.
There is no better feeling than reaching another goal, getting to the next level. And everyone has something that shines differently. Everyone’s a star!

This is TERESA.
MY SISTER passed on six years ago today. I lost my only sibling and BEST FRIEND.
This is a rare photo of my sister with her guitar that I had bought for her birthday. She had a desire to learn to play but then just just a few months later decided instead to focus studying at University of Toronto and on becoming a teacher and so guitar no more. It was at this time that I began playing piano (as seen right behind her) and pursued songwriting and singing. I’m sure she would have been just as successful at guitar as she was a school teacher. To this day the children she taught that are now all grown up of course,still remember her fondly and how great a teacher she was.
From when I was a teenager one of the most important things she taught me was not to ever worry about what people think or say and just do what I feel is best for me. Not only was that inspiring snd motivating but I took that and carried it further and so I wrote one of my favourite mottos of mine ‘’It’s for no one to tell you how to be you, no one can be you, only you can be you’’.
She always made a difference in my life and I’m sure she would have now, again and again and in many ways. Somehow, from up above, I believe she’s watching over me.
After our mother passed on Teresa always reminded me of how proud mom was of our smiles. And so the best way to honour that for my sister, Mom and Dad is to just smile when I can.
Her spirit of life lives on. Her teachings live on. Teresa, a friend to so many, a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and as my sister lives on.
ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU MORE THAN EVER!🙏❤️🌻
